Forma Works Start a project

You have the idea. We build it.

Send a sketch, a CAD file or a sample. We turn it into a production drawing, place it with an audited workshop in Turkey, and ship the finished part to your door.

  1. 01Your sketch. A napkin is fine.
  2. 02Our drawing. Materials, tolerances, part numbers, a quote.
  3. 03Your product. Prototype in six weeks, series by truck.
Three-seat sofa: hand sketch, engineering drawing, finished product A pencil sketch of a sofa frame straightens into a dimensioned technical drawing with part numbers, then the photograph of the finished sofa appears exactly over the drawing.
  1. 1Back frame beech 40 × 60, kiln-dried
  2. 2Seat frame S235JR tube 30 × 30 × 2, powder-coated RAL 9005
  3. 3Plinth S235JR tube 40 × 20, welded, 3 struts
  4. 4Legs solid oak, turned, 155 mm
  5. 5Arm panels plywood 18 mm, glued and stapled
  6. 6Springs sinuous, 3.8 mm wire, 9 pcs

Delivered. Prototype in six weeks, first series in week ten. Built in Kayseri, TR, shipped by truck to Stuttgart, DE.

What happens after you hit send.

One project engineer owns your file from day zero to the truck. This is the realistic calendar for a furniture mechanism when a drawing already exists.

  1. Day 0

    Your file arrives

We confirm receipt the same day with the name of the engineer handling it. Files stay on our private server until you approve sharing.

  2. Day 2

    Feasibility note

What works, what we would change, and a cost window per unit at your yearly quantity. If the part is a bad fit for Turkey, we say so here.

  3. Week 1

    Workshop match and quote

Two or three audited factories we have visited, with capacity for your volume. A quote with tooling, unit price, lead time and Incoterms.

  4. Week 6

    Prototype on your desk

First article measured against the drawing, photographed, cycle-tested where relevant. Nothing is tooled until you sign it off.

  5. Week 10

    Series and delivery

Inspection on the factory floor, a report per batch, export paperwork, and a truck to your warehouse. Four to five days on the road.

What we build, as a parts list.

Furniture is our home ground: metal, wood, foam and upholstery workshops that already supply European brands. Batches are typical ranges, not minimums.

Kayseri to Stuttgart: 2,980 km, four to five days by truck.

Turkey's industry is clustered. We work where the cluster matches the part, and every workshop has been visited by us before it sees your drawing.

Cluster

Kayseri

Furniture and furniture mechanisms, metal furniture, mattresses and foam. Our home base for sofa, bed and recliner programmes.

Kapıkule, EU border 1,010 km Sofia → Stuttgart, DE 2,980 km, day 4 to 5 by truck Kayseri Bursa and İnegöl Istanbul İzmir Eskişehir Konya Gaziantep
Customs union with the EU
No customs duty on industrial goods. Manufacturers already produce to EN, CE and REACH requirements for their European customers.
Close enough to visit
Three hours from Frankfurt or Munich to Istanbul, one more to Kayseri. We host the visit and translate on the floor.
Depth, not just price
Metal, wood, foam and textile supply chains sit in the same regions, so a sofa programme is sourced within a two-hour drive.
Batch sizes that move
Workshops are used to mid-size series with seasonal variants, which suits furniture programmes that change every year.

The paperwork your purchasing department will ask for.

Sample documents, so you can check the format before the first order. Certificates belong to the partner factories, not to Forma Works, and we say which workshop holds which.

Tell us what you want to build.

Five minutes is enough. Attach what you have, a photo of a napkin sketch included. A project engineer answers within two working days, in English or German.
